The Strand, our much-loved local pub, is looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our management team and lead our Bottle Shop.

You'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, keeping the store looking its best, and making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly. We need someone proactive, reliable, and team-focused — someone who will step up and support the Venue Manager while taking real ownership of the retail side.

We are offering: 

  • Competitive Salary $75,000 - $80,000 + Plus Superannuation

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with suppliers
  • Drive sales and meet KPI's
  • Strong product knowledge across Beer, Spirits & Wine
  • Handling all Hotel and Bottle shop ordering, deliveries and stock management
  • Have a friendly and approachable manner
  • Lead & coach your team
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Ensure work health & safety of yourself and your team, identify hazards and implement control measures
  • Work with the Venue Manager to cross-train team members
  • Confident in visual merchandising, creating stock displays and promotions
