At Australian Venue Co., our marketing team is driven by one mission: to support our venues in delivering world-class customer experiences while driving organic revenue growth. With over 200+ venues across Australia and New Zealand, we're on the lookout for a Growth Marketing Manager to lead the charge in unlocking commercial potential across our newest acquisitions.

About the Role
As Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the strategic marketing integration of newly acquired venues into the AVC portfolio. You’ll work across a dedicated patch of venues throughout Australia and New Zealand, ensuring each one hits the ground running—fast.

From day 30 to day 150 post-acquisition, you’ll diagnose performance gaps, execute high-impact acquisition and activation campaigns, and drive uplift across all marketing touchpoints. Your ultimate goal? Help new venues achieve commercial momentum, brand alignment, and long-term sustainability—at speed.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the marketing lifecycle from Acquire → Turnaround → Grow across new venues

  • Build and deliver data-led marketing strategies aligned to commercial targets

  • Execute campaigns that drive foot traffic, revenue growth, and customer engagement

  • Use business intelligence tools (DOMO, Power BI) to extract insights, spot trends, and inform strategy

  • Act as a marketing partner to venue managers, supporting their growth journey through hands-on advice and execution

  • Influence internal stakeholders including Operations GMs, State Managers, and central teams to align marketing with broader business objectives

  • Apply retention, CRM, and database strategies to maximise lifetime value

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in growth, brand, or performance marketing with proven success in turnaround or integration environments

  • Strong commercial acumen and a sharp understanding of how marketing drives business outcomes

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—you know how to win hearts and shift mindsets

  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Meta, Google, CRM, CMS, etc.)

  • Experience working with BI tools (DOMO, Power BI) and translating data into strategic action

  • Hospitality or multi-site experience highly desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, or a related field

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Are:

  • Strategic and hands-on, with a love for diagnosing problems and driving real change

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • A strong collaborator with the ability to influence and inspire others

  • A confident project manager, balancing multiple priorities across markets and stakeholders

Why AVC?

  • Be part of a passionate, collaborative marketing team that celebrates creativity and results

  • Enjoy real ownership and autonomy in a role that directly impacts business success

  • Career development opportunities in one of the fastest-growing hospitality groups in the region

  • Office based in Melbourne CBD + flexibility to travel interstate/NZ as needed

  • Staff discounts across 200+ iconic pubs, bars & venues
