Fitzy’s Loganholme on the hunt for a hands-on and experienced Senior Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen team.

Located along the Southside of Brissy, the iconic Fitzy’s is back and better than ever. The modern dining room offers an open kitchen and relaxed dining space to enjoy all your favourite Aussie classics, like parmas, steaks and half roasted chicken perfect for sharing with the family. The Terrace, our newly renovated alfresco dining area, is the perfect spot to enjoy small bites and grazing plates. 

Fitzy’s Loganholme Function Centre is renowned for its location as a central point between the Gold Coast and Brisbane City. From Grand ballroom banquet dinners for 350 guests, to Cocktail Parties, High Tea’s, Awards Nights and everything in between.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Proven experience in a Sous Chef role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, support, and mentor the team
  • Implement and manage stock control, ordering, and checking of deliveries  
  • Provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environment 
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS) 
  • Strong compliance focus
  • A commitment to achieving outstanding sales results
  • Ability to take direction well from Head Chef 
  • Ability to engage with the local community
