The Exchange Hotel are looking for a motivated, customer focused Assistant Manager to join our team and work in one of our reputable Melbourne venues.

Located on Port Melbourne’s Bay Street, The Exchange is an award-winning pub offering bar, restaurant and function room facilities in a relaxed and friendly environment.

What do we need from you?

  • Proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue
  • A passion for the industry and commitment to a successful career in hospitality 
  • Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
  • Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
  • Exceptional customer service and presentation skills
  • Extensive restaurant & bar experienced
  • Ability to training and development staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience 
  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated 
  • Current RSA
  • Desire to expand your skillset under the Venue Manager
  • Strong financial skills
  • Compliance focus
