Hope Island Tavern is searching for an experienced food & beverage-focused Venue Manager to lead our newly renovated venue! Known for our friendly service, great food, and cold beers, we're looking for a hands-on leader who can take our hospitality to the next level.

As Venue Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our bustling, high-volume venue. Your leadership will shape a dynamic team, drive service excellence, and ensure smooth operations across all areas.

What's on Offer:

This role is based on the Gold Coast QLD, offering a very strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary circa $100,000 - $110,000 in addition to superannuation and an achievable performance bonus structure.  

Essential requirements:

  • 5+ years of Venue Management experience
  • Proven experience managing high-volume F&B 
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems
  • P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials 
  • Experience in a high-turnover customer service environment
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic hospitality management
  • Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area & industry
  • Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
  • State-based qualifications Approved Managers License
