Australian Venue Co is on the hunt for a versatile Tournant Chef to join our Rockhampton & Yeppoon team. You’ll rotate across three recently refreshed venues: Leichhardt Hotel (is back and bigger than ever), Berserker Tavern (revitalised with a modern, family-friendly feel), and The Strand in Yeppoon (a coastal gem with a refreshed dining experience). Each venue has had a new lease on life, offering you the chance to keep things fresh in your career too.

The Role

As a Tournant Chef, you’ll be the adaptable all-rounder – confident across every section, stepping in where needed, and ensuring quality remains high no matter the venue.

What You’ll Do

  • Run any section of the kitchen with consistency and flair
  • Adjust quickly to different teams, kitchens, and menus
  • Support Head Chefs in leading shifts and mentoring juniors
  • Maintain food quality, cost control, and compliance standards

About You

  • Strong chef experience across multiple sections
  • Leadership, organisation, and adaptability
  • Positive, team-driven, and calm under pressure
  • Valid driver’s licence & reliable car are essential
