We are seeking a vibrant, passionate professional Assistant Venue Manager to join the team at Waterloo Hotel to assist in the daily operations alongside our Venue Manager. This role is suited to a manager who would like to take the next step in their career. 

The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

Essential requirements:

  • Two years minimum experience in an Assistant Venue Manager role
  • Strong experience working in a gaming venue 
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Ability to stock take and investigate stock-loss
  • Order and maintain par levels within the beverage department, food department and venue consumables
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
  • RLMV & Approved Managers License
  • CLO desirable
