Reef Gateway Hotel is seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join its already-established team! If you are passionate about customer service, hospitality and delivering exceptional experiences, we want to hear from you! 

The Reef Gateway Hotel has been a Cannonvale local institution for over 20 years. Their menu showcases modern Australian cuisine and features the local fresh produce of Far North Queensland. It's a host for lively weekend entertainment, along with a great gaming room, accommodation and huge function spaces. 

We are offering:

Essential requirements:

  • Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
  • Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
  • Extensive restaurant & bar experience
  • Strong experience working in a gaming venue 
  • Knowledge of TAB and wagering 
  • Ability to train and develop staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience 
  • Ensuring policies, procedures, and standards are current, effective, and clearly communicated 
  • Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers license 
  • CLO - Desirable not necessary
