Geelongs favourite local pub The Eureka Hotel is seeking an adept Assistant Venue Manager to oversee our multifaceted operations, with a strong emphasis on live gigs and entertainment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a lively atmosphere filled with music and entertainment.

As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll work closely with the Venue Manager to orchestrate the day-to-day operations of our multifaceted venue. We're in search of an individual with a proven track record in managing large-capacity venues, adept at team leadership, and skilled in cultivating and nurturing strong management teams.

Essential requirements:

• 2+ years of Management experience in a similar venue 
• Experience working in an Entertainment focused venue
• Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
• Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
• Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
• Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
