Death & Co are coming to Australia! Partnering with some of AVC’s most iconic venues to bring a new level of sophistication to Brisbane & Melbourne’s cocktail scene like you have never seen before!

We’re looking for a dynamic, beverage-focused Venue Manager to help bring this new concept to life. This is a rare opportunity to launch America’s Best Cocktail Bar in Australia and play a key role in introducing a globally acclaimed brand known for its award-winning drinks and exceptional service.

The successful candidate will be flown to Los Angeles for an intensive four-week training with the world’s best — learning directly from the pioneers behind Death & Co’s award-winning cocktails and service.

We are offering: 

  • Generous Salary $90,000 - $105,000 + Super
  • Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A
  • Opportunity to join Australia’s fastest-growing hospitality business with opportunities on an international scale.
  • Autonomous role with boundless central and on-the-ground support.
  • Mobility opportunities: 200+ venues and growing.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years as a Venue Manager in a beverage-led venue
  • Extensive Beverage knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine
  • Proven track record working in an elevated, high-volume bar venue
  • Ability to curate cocktail, spirit, and wine menus
  • Have a passion for the industry!
  • Budget development and oversight experience
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop management teams.
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and implementing operations best practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional, ethical standards and a diverse workplace
