The Boundary Hotel is one of Brisbane’s most iconic pubs, nestled in the heart of vibrant West End. Known for its rich history, rooftop bar, live music, and buzzing bistro, we’re a multi-level venue with a passion for good food, great vibes, and community connection.

We’re now on the hunt for an experienced Sous Chef to help lead our dynamic kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love classic pub food done well, and want to grow your leadership skills – this is your next move.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day operations across service, prep, and kitchen management
  • Be a strong and calm presence during busy shifts – especially weekends and events
  • Contribute to menu development and run specials that showcase creativity
  • Help lead a collaborative kitchen culture built on respect, consistency, and quality
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, compliance, and team development

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong CDP ready to step up
  • Solid skills in high-volume service and classic pub cuisine
  • Strong communication and leadership qualities
  • Passion for quality food, fast-paced kitchens, and team success
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset
