Workers’ Compensation Administrator – 6 Month Contract

Australian Venue Co. (AVC) is a rapidly expanding hospitality business operating some of Australia and New Zealand’s most iconic venues. With continued growth on the horizon, we’re looking for a motivated Workers’ Compensation Administrator to join our National Injury & WHS team and support injury and claims management across our portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in injury management, claims administration, health sciences, or WHS within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

About the Role

As the Workers’ Compensation Administrator, you will provide administrative support and assist with workers’ compensation and injury management processes across AVC nationally. You’ll work closely with venue teams, external providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure claims are managed accurately, efficiently, and in line with legislative obligations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Assisting with workers’ compensation claims management and weekly compensation pay calculations

  • Processing reimbursement claims for injured workers

  • Ensuring all required documentation is collected and recorded accurately

  • Liaising with injured workers, venue leaders, and treating health providers

  • Reviewing incident reports and triaging injuries within Elumina

  • Escalating complex claims or HR matters to the National Injury & WHS Lead

  • Managing tickets and queries through Freshdesk and Elumina

  • Processing invoices via Converga

  • Providing general administrative support to the WHS team on planned programs and activities

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent administrative, organisational, and record-keeping capability

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and strong data-entry skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Reliability, consistency, and pride in delivering quality work

  • Knowledge of workers’ compensation or return-to-work processes is desirable (not essential)
