Our beautiful multi-level venue, Morris House located on the corner of Exhibition & Little Collins Street, is known for its great food, live entertainment, NYC-inspired basement for Melbourne’s best live comedy shows, and city rooftop views. 

As we get ready for another busy summer ahead, we are expanding our team to welcome a new duty manager! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their hospitality career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As the Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our venue. You'll work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and customer satisfaction.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality management
  • Experience working in a high-volume food & beverage venue
  • Experience working in a fast paced venue 
  • Be able to work as part of time and autonomously 
  • Have a passion for live music, entertainment and comedy!
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Work with and communicate effectively within a team environment 
  • Previous experience with H&L desirable but not necessary 
  • Current RSA
