Located right on the water’s edge with stunning views of the eastern foreshore, The Peninsula Bar and Restaurant is a recently refurbished venue in the heart of Mandurah. Known for our relaxed coastal vibe, quality food, and great value, The Pen is a favourite with locals and visitors alike.

What We're Looking For:
We’re after a passionate and driven Sous Chef who’s ready to step into a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. Someone who thrives on creativity, enjoys collaboration, and brings strong leadership to the team.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role
  • A love for food and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
  • The ability to lead, motivate and support the kitchen team
  • A flair for innovation and menu creation
  • Great communication skills and a team-first attitude

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Playing a key role in menu development and presentation
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and cost management
