Salt Bar is searching for an experienced and self-motivated Function Manager to take the lead in delivering exceptional events in our stunning coastal setting. From weddings and special celebrations to corporate functions, you’ll play a key role in managing the end-to-end process and making every event seamless and memorable.

🔹 About the Role:

• Full-time position with flexible scheduling depending on function requirements

• A mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts based on event bookings

• Sole responsibility for managing function operations — autonomy and time management are key

• Hands-on planning and execution of all functions, from enquiry to delivery

• Liaising with clients to tailor events and ensure guest satisfaction

• Coordinating with the FOH and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service delivery

• Supporting venue sales through excellent service and client relationships

🔹 We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in function or event management within hospitality

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills

• Familiarity with iVvy and SevenRooms is preferred, but not essential

• A local connection or knowledge of the area is a bonus — especially when helping guests visualise their perfect coastal wedding

• Must hold current RSA (and RCG preferred)
