The Leopold Hotel is on the lookout for a hands-on, high-energy Assistant Venue Manager to help lead our team and keep the good times rolling. A favorite among locals, we’re known for our buzzing vibe, live gigs, big-screen sports, and a killer lineup of local and international beers.

As Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll be at the heart of daily operations. You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager to keep everything running like clockwork—bar, floor, events, staff, stock, and service. You’ll lead from the front, set the pace, and bring the best out of your team while making sure our patrons have the kind of experience that keeps them coming back.

Essential requirements:

  • 2+ years as an Assistant Venue Manager
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
  • Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
  • Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
  • Extensive restaurant & bar experience
  • Ability to train and develop staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience 
  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated
