Australian Venue Co. is on the lookout for a talented Interior Designer to join our national design team. With a diverse portfolio of venues across Australia and New Zealand, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the look, feel, and function of some of the country's most exciting hospitality spaces.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the national interior design team, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across brand, property, marketing, and operations to bring our venue concepts to life. You’ll lead the design process from concept development through to project delivery, including:

• Creating detailed design briefs and look-and-feel documentation for new and existing venues
• Working closely with external partners (architects, builders, suppliers) to ensure brand alignment and execution
• Selecting and procuring FF&E in line with budget and timeline requirements
• Producing and reviewing floorplans, FF&E schedules, and styling details
• Ensuring documentation meets all council and WHS requirements
• Being hands-on during project launches and venue openings
• Managing budgets in collaboration with the project team

What We’re Looking For

• A strong design eye and the ability to translate brand vision into layered, styled interiors
• Experience in venue, hospitality, or commercial interior design
• Confident managing multiple stakeholders and contractors
• High attention to detail and strong project coordination skills
• Ability to manage and stay within project budgets
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and visual
• InDesign and Microsoft Suite experience; understanding of construction a plus
• Bonus: experience using Monday.com or other project management tools.
