The Waterloo Hotel Brisbane is expanding its already-established management team. We are looking for a new Duty Manager who has a passion for all things hospo!. This is an excellent opportunity for a manager looking to step into a large venue and showcase their skills!!.

The position will suit a candidate with outstanding leadership skills and the proven ability to positively impact a team and provide exceptional customer service. We are seeking someone with proven experience managing a multifaceted venue who can problem-solve and thrive in a busy environment. 

The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

Essential requirements:

  • Two years minimum experience in an Duty Manager role
  • Strong experience working in a gaming venue 
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Ability to stock take and investigate stock-loss
  • Order and maintain par levels within the beverage department, food department and venue consumables
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
  • RLMV & Approved Managers License
  • CLO desirable
