Area Manager – Regional Victoria

Australian Venue Co. is on the lookout for an experienced Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of our venues across Regional Victoria. This role is perfect for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about driving growth, elevating customer experience, and building high-performing teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Venue Growth – Partner with Venue Managers to deliver like-for-like sales growth, shape quarterly sales strategies, and ensure menu innovation and product performance.
  • Customer Experience – Champion exceptional service, embed best-practice SOPs, and audit venues monthly to maintain a 4.5+ star rating.
  • Leadership & People – Coach, mentor, and develop Venue Managers, with a strong focus on progression through our Advance programs.
  • Safety & Compliance – Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance targets are achieved across your patch.
  • Hands-On Engagement – Be on the ground with your teams, working at least 2 operational shifts per week to support, guide, and lead by example.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven multi-site leadership experience within hospitality.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of lifting sales performance.
  • A people-focused leader who builds trust, develops talent, and drives accountability.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences.
