After an extensive renovation, Payneham Tavern is thrilled to reopen its doors this summer! As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to help lead our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our beloved local venue.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the bistro, ensuring our high standards of service are maintained, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests. Your leadership will be essential in managing and motivating the team, ensuring compliance with venue policies, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Essential requirements:

• 2+ years in a Management role
• Ability to run a fast-paced restaurant 
• Strong food & beverage knowledge 
• Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
• Ability to stock take and investigate the stock loss
• Work with and communicate effectively within a team environment 
• Previous experience working with Ivy and Seven Rooms
• Basic & Advanced Gaming Training desirable but not necessary 
• Hold a Responsible Person License desirable but not necessary
