The Strand Hotel Yeppoon is looking for a full-time Managers to join the management team. We have been part of the Yeppoon landscape for over 60 years and it's easy to see why! we are a team that is dedicated to the community & delivering customer service with a smile. The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills. The successful candidate must have a strong compliance focus, along with a passion for the industry and commitment to a successful career in hospitality.

Essential requirements:

  • 2+ years in a management role in a similar venue
  • Experience working in a gaming venue 
  • Strong Food & Beverage knowledge 
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Ability to stock take and investigate the stock loss
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
  • Work with and communicate effectively within a team
  • Experience with H&L, Ivy & Seven rooms desirable 
  • RLMV & Approved Managers License
